Adventures in Drinking

and eating...

Parker is becoming incredibly stong willed (we have no idea why, neither of his parents are). A fun part of this development is feeding himself with a spoon and drinking from a straw. The straw is his favorite. I suppose it is the baby equivalent to chugging a beer. Boy are we in trouble.

Dapper Dude

The Easter Bunny strikes again...

We expected a Sunday like any other. For Jay, attempting to sleep in past 5:30 am. For Haley, rolling out of bed at 9:18 am. For Parker, making a mad dash from one side of the crib to the other in a giggling fit until Jay hears him and serves up a sippy cup of milk and a waffle. For all, rushing to get out the door to get to church on time. Little did we know that our second Easter with Parker would be so different than the last. And this year, at 14.5 months old, he gets it. He knew exactly what to do with his dragon Easter basket and how to open the metallic plastic eggs. Parker even slung his dragon basket over his arm and ran through the house collecting eggs and toothbrushes and flashlights. We were unprepared for the hilarity that ensued. We had so much fun that we missed the first ten minutes of church, (but made it for the good parts). We hope you had a great day too. Happy Easter.

Welcome Family and Friends...
